I’m sad to say, that around ~05 this morning (GMT+1) the server went down on its knees and commited Seppuku. It basically cut open its stommach and let its soul fly away.. Or, well, the soul is still here, as you can read.

All unseriousness aside, the server went down, and now its back up. But with it comes an old database backup, namely from June/July. Everything (Not much I have to say) written after that got lost. But no worries! I cant say I am the most true blogger, so, no worries.

Server is back up, with full php5 functionality (I.e x220.nu/upload now works) only thing that is a bit shaky is the FTP, which isnt something you notice anyway, is it? ;)

Good luck, good day. I am now off for a bit of well deserved rest ^_^

Yes, where do I start?

So, last night, Monday night we, the ninth graders, had a finishing prom where we ate (Shrimps, Pork chops with potatoes and then the swedish version of Brownies (Kladdkaka!) with whipped cream.

It was a pretty nice setup, until the dj started playing his heavy dunka-dunka. *shrug*

So, some pictures from the evening

Jakob (Jakobi, WoW player :o)

Jonatan (Him you should know about now)

From left to right; Jonatan, Robert, Jimmy, Jakob.

Thats me

Jimmy and Jonatan

Jakob

And Robert (Whom Just got a new haircut.. He had almost as long hair [If not longer] than Jimmy earlier! :o)

And thats about the images I’ve got from the evening. All were from the table we were seated (But not all the time of course. That would just be silly, wouldnt it)
The people to the left of us were loud and obnoxious, and didnt get better as the time passed. But I didnt go home until ~11 anyway. After that I got home, went to bed and played DS until 1 :[ I couldnt sleep when I knew what was waiting for me…->

The END of all Students
Well, not really. But today we were going for the finish of the ninth grade (Oh that sounds so lame!) But we were doing it anyway.
So the day started at 0815, at the church which is about a 50 meters from the school. In which Robert and Jimmy played their song, some girl sung, we sung a bit and the principal held a speech in which he quoted Russel Crowe from the movie The Gladiator. “What we do in life echoes in eternity.” And “Strength and honor.”
Quite a nice movie that is. So after he spoke, we were going in a procession down to the other people 7 and 8 graders, and many parents.

(Those are the people who walked first)

And there are we, Wasima (*shrug*), Robert, Jakob, Jimmy (And Oskar Behind him), Jonatan, and I.
finish
Still walking.. Wintana, Christian and Daniella behind me and Jonatan there.

Curious cat is curious. Our old neighbours up there on the hill.

So after that, we sat there for a good time and listened to Jimmy Robert and this time also Jonatan. Another group thingy. Two persons who sang and played the piano. Pretty long speeches about the summer and recipes.. I didnt really follow.. It was something about mushing together swimming pants and sea water with sunlight. ;s

Then we went back to the classroom where we, our teachers spoke about missing us because we are sooooo lovely <3. Then we got our grades, in exchange for a hug of the teachers Caroline and Najjar.

After that.. We were excused really. Running in a circle, jumping onto a car, dancing naked in the rain.. Ohwell, we could’ve done all that if there had been any rain. But I went home and had some cake and coffee with my parents.

Then we went to INFRACITY TÄBY w00t (The same place where Condoleezza Rice stayed when she was here the other week) and got a camera printer for grandma as she is going to 70 in a little while.

I guess I’ll start with the LAN we pulled together in our class.

9D1 (Thats us) got together for “The Units Day”, which is for all classes in the “D” unit to get together and have fun.. Only that we wanted to be on our own, outsiders as we are. I got the terrible/awesome idea of a LAN party, and almost everyone was on board from second one. So said and done we got together the night to wednesday at 9PM (19:00) for some sweet ass-kicking, and supposed to be some Singstar singing aswell and guitar hero rocking. However the schools old televisions werent THAT good, so there was no PS2 action there. And the next problem was that the network was not working. Piece of sheet electronics. *shrug*

So, going back in time, as I was packing up the stuff, seeing as I brought most of the gear for the network and so I was getting a bit stressed. Time was ticking on helplessly and I was unsure about if I was forgetting something. This is however the gear.

The switch of ultimate power

Now in the middle of the packing Robert called me and asked if he could tag along, which I of course was completely fine with. So we went by his house on the way over to school and then we got there and Jonatan was already there. He brought pastries too! :D

LAN
So here we were, setting up the computers, my hands to the left and Robert to the right. Father of Jimmys just in the middle (You can see Jimmys head to the left of his father)

LAN
From left to right: Me, Jonatan, Jakob, Robert, and the hands of Jimmys father.

LAN
Here we are, almost up and running, Jonatan, I, Jimmys father, Jimmy, and Robert smiling pervertedly (Or is he ;( )

LAN
And so we spent a good lot of time setting things up, I was between 7pm (19) and 0am/12pm (00) fixing peoples computer. Because apparently

  1. Windows networks are not compitable with other versions of Windows, i.e a Win XP Pro computer cannot connect to an Win XP Home one.
  2. Everything was seeingly messed up, and since I was the one with the most expertice there I had to help quite alot of people leaving me stressed :(
  3. The PS2’s didnt work, and half the class which didnt bring computers needed help getting them to work.. I didnt succeed with that, so I helped them set up the Projector to watch movies instead.

After getting things fixed and set up, and Robert told me to stop messing up because I would never get the network running on his computer (Which had XP Home) I sighed, sat down, could finally rest.

Then we got on playing some counter strike, because I had gotten 7/11 computers running (The other ones were running 2x Vista, 1x Home and 1x Weird SAS, the airline, computer)

So we were playing, switching a bit to let everyone play and it was all nice and dandy. Quite fun aswell! And very very special, playing in a school.

Around 4-5 AM (04-05) We werent doing much so I decided that we should show some anime on the big screen (projector). Jimmy thought that was a great idea so we watched some Lucky Star!!

LAN

LAN
Robert came too, completely fascinated, and most probably a bit scared. Jonatan thought it was all madness and ran away. But the three of us were watching and laughing. And so did the rest of the people who passed through.. But I think they laughed because they didnt know anything of what was going on :D

( I am sorry I documented this so badly :()

The thing about having a shop-a-holic brother in another country on travelling foot right now is this:

He buys stuff, and sends them home, to which I am eligible to open up them which leaves me alone with stuff of his for a few months.
This is particularly good now when my budget is on a leash.

So this happened, he bought GTA IV special edition and it got here today. And well since a picture says more than a thousand words, then I’ll post a few images and it will be like a whole book :D

GTAIVGTAIV

And a last image of the game being installed, since well, the first game to be installed on my PS3 except demos! :D

^_^

So, this’ll be a little longer post.. Than some of the ones before.

Last night, and Saturday+Friday was also filled with working, but last night and day specifically I worked almost the whole day on my darn Japan paper. Grr! I’ll probably need to add some things, and today I heard that it is to be in NEXT WEEK not this week, as I thought. This leaves me with wrongly set priorities (Not good) seeing I could’ve focused on my Biology paper instead since that is to be in this Friday.

Ohwell. Last night after dinner I brought forward my skeleton that I’ve made for my project in “Drawing” (?) class. I needed it to be welved together. So my father and I went outside to weld it, that however didn’t go too well since it melted (Aswell blackened the stone the parts layed on and melted the asphalt. Hrmm!) So after that we thought we would solder the parts, but that didn’t work either sadly enough. So my mother tied it together with steel thread (-ish), which made him all wobbly and cute ^_~

After that I went back to my Japan paper, but I thought “Dont push it, you’ll live.” And so I went to bed. I could however, not sleep. I think I fell asleep around an hour and fourty minutes after I went to bed :-\ Not good at all.

Today we had a sleep-in morning (In which we were supposed to work with the Japan paper) until 11.10, a large ammount of time this is, so I even had time to get some coffee before I left. Yum yurr :D

The day went on slow as usual, Monday stuff.. Worked on my boat in woodwork class, painted my (Wobbly) skeleton in Drawing class. But then all of a sudden the school day was over and it was time to get home! Said and done, I was soon home in which I see I’ve gotten a package, or two. Happy as ever I almost KNEW that it was my t-shirt I ordered like.. A month or two ago. So I threw my backpack away and leapt towards the packages. One of them was opened though, so I asked my father if he had opened my mail. The answer was no, the postal guy had probably done it, and thought to himself “This movie is crap, I might just aswell steal something else.”

Yes, it was a movie, an odd movie called “WOLFHOUND” “The Rise of The Warrior”. 29KR (About 2.9€ or ~5 dollars) Which was a great price, it was one of those buy (X ammounts of this paper and get this movie/game/candy)

Woldfhound

And then the second package was the long awaited t-shirt. Oh yes, without furder ado..

SmexyNinja

As you can see there’s an little ninja on the shirt aswell. Awesome? Oh you can bet it is.

Yes, its weird.. I’ve began to sweat copious amounts. Puberty I’ve hit? It could be so, or its the weather.. Its warm now, really really warm. Like Summer warm, the flowers are blooming and the sweat is running down your face and its still spring. Seems like it will be a good summer, too bad I will be too far south to enjoy it! (^__^)

So, in other news. I got myself an PS2 Memory card (Just about over one and a half year since I bought my PS2… Things happen fast around here) So I started enjoying a bit of Devil May Cry 3 and Katamari Damacy. DMC3 Is hard though! Seriously, I’ve yet to get past the second level. Only tried a few times but still! Hoping to lay my hands on FFXII (Final Fantasy XII (13)) soon. Haven’t played any Final Fantasy but you’ve got to start somewhere right? I believe it was FFXII that Linus, friend of my brothers, played at the last LAN get together. Played from 10 to 24 or something like that.. Really disturbed ones sleep. Hm, It can’t have been last LAN we had, must’ve been the one before that, since I slept none at the last one. There you go ;).

Now back to school work, only three assignments (Out of three) to go! Wish me luck :P

Something I hate, is to be in charge of this bastard son of mine…

…I’m talking about the darn server downstairs, always malfunctioning loosing connection to the intrawebz (What is its purpose I ask you, if not to be connected to the Whole W’mighty Web?)
Server Server

I am seriously starting to hate it. I’ve got to climb down there, whip up a screen and a keyboard just to see whats wrong and then most probably have to pull out the cables, run upstairs check the cables there run down again put in the cables run up once again to check the cables AGAIN realise there is no problem upstairs go down down down, almost fall, and then realise ooh.. The server was just acting up like a little child, to get attention I suppose, it hasn’t been getting alot of that since Patrik went away.

I mean I did that routine last night after an afternoons sleep (I don’t know why I fell asleep but I was tired, that’s for sure.) and then now, just now, getting on my nerves and my headache. Making me want to kick it out of the window from a ten story building. Go nuts on it with a golf club and, AND burn it to death… The bastard deserves it.

bas·tard /ˈbæstərd/ [bas-terd]
–noun
1. a person born of unmarried parents; an illegitimate child.
2. Slang.
a. a vicious, despicable, or thoroughly disliked person: Some bastard slashed the tires on my car.
b. a person, esp. a man: The poor bastard broke his leg.

In other news; Its the official Day of Ghana tomorrow, if you didn’t know Ghana is the small country in the large vast African desert
Ghana
Which basically means at my school we will work for a day (At home[?]) and then get a 100SEK which we bring to the school people whom in their turn take those monies in a small briefcase. That briefcase will be flown over and delivered in person to the Ghana people who will give the messenger a cute hug (^_^) and then the Swede will come back.

[Its actually for a childrens home in Ghana that our school takes care of with these days.. But there are no cute hugs in that story!]

Most people get their parents to sign the note, stay home for a day (Even thought the note specifically said, “THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE A PAID VACATION DAY OMGZORZ!!!1!1!!one!!1!!eleven”)
They will then claim to have worked their butts off and maybe even pretend to sweat for a bit. No one will really believe them, but what can be done? The poor Ghananians get some money for a pair of sneakers and some really really good rice! (I’m envious of the food they’ll get :[ ) But hey, I can also buy some rice and we’ll be even. ;)

Or pizza.. Because thats what was on the menu today.. Two pizzas and a helluva lot of.. MULTI VITAMIN DRINK! (You were assuming I would say Coke there werent you, ).
Nope sir no, I say no.

That’ll be all for today folks! Good evening take care and DON’T eat the bears.. Otherwise you’ll DIE.

Woopeheidididioeeeeeeeeeeee

Its still one of the best animes I’ve ever seen. I have no idea how it can sprung such feelings though, I mean regular movies never ever even come near how you feel after watching a great anime. Maybe it is that series have more time to give the message.. Its just that, for example American (Lets just not talk about Swedish ones.. Juck) series have the same amount of time but they don’t come near either. I don’t know not even worth thinking about.. Lets just sit down and enjoy the anime, alright?

… Well, It didn’t go too good I am afraid.

I ended up throwing Linux down drain and installing windows again. Needed the fresh install though.

The thing was, I couldnt get it to function properly with my Nvidia card and the dual monitors. There were issues, complications. And I did spend a good 1½ hour fixing, trying to fix, them. Ohwell, I learned some things, not just random Linux lingo (su-, init 3, sax2. To go into the configuration mode for the screen in openSuse.) I mean I got some things done, and the mayor part of the time was backing up my drive anyway that if anything took some time. And installing the darn thing. Installing it, updating it geez. It went faster to install and update Windows, and THATS usually slow.

Bah, I have *almost* everything sorted on windows here now, I realised I forgot to backup my steam games, but what the heck I’ll just leave the download on someday, if my brother hasnt got them. But its been quite a long and fascinating day, woke up at 10, and its now 02. that is a wooping 14 hours! Give some thought about that. (Wouldnt have wanted to spend my day in any other way :) )
